Hi, I’m Elie Douna. I’m an entrepreneur and the director of the Douna Group, a company that’s been in the business of property development for over 20 years. I’m passionate about creating sustainable and innovative solutions in the property sector.
I’m married to the wonderful Emily, who is my rock and my biggest supporter. Together, we’re committed to making a difference in our community.
One of the ways we do this is through our involvement with SWAG Illawarra, a charity that provides support to those in need in the local Wollongong region. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’re proud to be part of their mission.
When I’m not working or spending time with Emily, you’ll find me enjoying a game of golf or indulging in my love for cars. I believe in living life to the fullest and making every moment count.
I work extensively togther with my twin brother Charbel and our extended family.
In my journey as an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that success is not just about financial gain. It’s about the impact you make, the lives you touch, and the legacy you leave behind. I strive to build not just buildings, but communities, places where people can thrive and grow.
I’m a firm believer in the power of education and continuous learning. I’m always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills, whether it’s through reading, attending seminars, or engaging in thoughtful conversations. I believe that the more we learn, the better we can serve our communities and contribute to the world.
In the end, it’s all about balance for me. Balancing the demands of running a business with the needs of my family and community. Balancing the desire for success with the need for purpose and meaning. And most importantly, balancing the hustle and bustle of life with moments of joy and relaxation. Because at the end of the day, it’s the simple things in life that truly matter.
